    I am extremely pleased with the the filters performance.

    I bought the 40oz cup/ mug. By down loading the EWG app (Environmental Working Group) you can check on what additives are are used to treat your municipal water and how in ranks in terms of quality. I believe they have every zip code in the U.S. The filter produces some great tasting water.

  • The water bottle filter has a 25-gallon filter life. Since each bottle holds 40 ounces of water, you can expect to fill your bottle up to 80 times before needing a filter change.

    • Filling twice daily: Replace the filter every 1–2 months.
    • Filling once daily: Replace the filter every 3 months.

    Hard or highly contaminated tap water and heavy usage may require more frequent replacements.

  • Hand-wash the bottle, straw, and mouthpiece using warm, soapy water. Then allow them to air-dry with the lid removed.

  • The interior filter cleans the water with each sip, so there may be a slight change in water flow. The source compares the experience to sipping a creamy milkshake.

    Each bottle also includes an extra full-length 9 mm × 245 mm straw for use without the filter.

  • The filter is designed for cold water, and adding ice is fine. However, using warm water or any other liquid is not recommended when using the filtered straw.
