  • All pitcher filters have an extended, 100-gallon filter life. Since the pitcher's reservoir holds approximately one-half gallon of water, you can expect to fill your pitcher 200 times before needing a filter change.

    As a general rule:

    • 3+ people: Every 2–3 months
    • 2 people: Every 3–4 months
    • 1 person: Every 4–6 months

    Hard or highly contaminated tap water and heavy usage may require more frequent replacements.

  • Prime the new filter as you did with the original. Then simply twist to remove the old filter and twist on the new one.
